You may ask yourselves what a tea folder is... at least I did when I first read about it. I had no idea these existed, but saw some nice ones online and decided to make one myself. I used cardboard, adhesive ribbon and a magazine photo. Here's the outcome:

crochet butterfly
Yesterday I came across beautiful photos of crochet butterflies. I love butterflies and thought that this would be a nice project to make, but then realised that there was no tutorial, just some vague photo tutorial, but decided to give it a go...and here's the outcome :)
swap-bot swapping
Back in December came across this page www.swap-bot.com and found it pretty interesting. This is a swaps page. Swaps of all types: themed swaps, tea swaps, chocolate swaps, postacards swaps or other collectible items swaps. Here you can either only participate or both participate and host a swap. The swap-bot assigns partners randomly and you send your goodies to one person, but receive them from another so it's quite funny.
The most interesting swaps I have so far participated in were:
5 SENSES SWAP for which we had to send 5 different objects that would represent the 5 senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste.
BLIND SWAP - a selection of at least 7 little objects that had to be wrapped and before the partners were assigned
HAPPY MAIL- a selection of profile based items to bring a smile to the receipient's face
I have also participated in a variety of tea and chocolate swaps and some pen palling swaps. The most challenging one was the 12 page letter! I had to write a letter consisting of 12 page and to a complete stranger. I love snail mail and regularly write to a very good friend of mine, but that much...never ;) I have also made some new pen pals. Happy about all these beautiful things happening in my life :)
